Moise Patrick Ford, Jr., passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023. He was a native of Mathews and resident of Raceland, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland on Friday, September 22, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery in Lockport, LA.

Moise is survived by his sons, Wayne P. Ford and wife, Kitty, and Corey P. Ford and wife, Valerie; brother, Gerald Ford; sister, Gloria Dufrene and husband, Eldon; grandchildren, Tyler, Tate, Blake and Kayla Ford; great-grandchildren, Stella and Lillian Ford.

Moise was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Velma Chiasson Ford; parents, Moise Paul Sr. and Velma Marie Detillier Ford; sister, Diane Larousse and husband, Norbert, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Patsy Ford.
