Mitsy Ann Dufrene, 48, a native and resident of Gheens, LA, passed away surrounded by her family and friends after a long battle with cancer.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, January 8, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gheens, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
She is survived by her parents, Gary and Margie Adams Dufrene and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward and Gloria Dufrene; maternal grandmother and step grandfather, Rita and Joseph Naquin and uncle, Willie Joseph Naquin.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nawaz and Dr. Wolford and staff of Ochsner St. Anne Hospital, doctors and staff at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and M.D. Anderson Medical Center.
Mitsy was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
