Mitchel J. Dempster, 89, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday, February 28, 2014 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church Burial service will be at 3:00 PM, Friday at St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Clothilde M. Dempster; sons, Kendal and Alan Dempster; brothers, Simon, Landry Nolan Dempster; sisters, Dolores Chaisson and Ethel Sposito.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felecien and Clarenda P. Dempster; brothers, John, Dennis, Melien Dempster; sisters, Velma Cortez, Thelma Tregle, Doris Trahan and 1 grandchild.
