Missy A. Plaisance, 84, a native of Larose and resident of Golden Meadow, LA passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
A visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:30 am. Procession will follow to her 12 noon Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with burial following in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. Missy is survived by her children; Irene Breaud (Ray), Erris LeBouef II, Linda Walton, Chris Plaisance (Richele), Clark Plaisance, and Mark Plaisance, 17 grandchildren, and 26 great great grandchildren, and sister; Lucretia Fontenot.
Mrs. Plaisance was preceded in death by her husband; Dudley “Dud” J. Plaisance, parents; Francois and Marcelline C. Anatio, brothers; Antoine, Albert, Hypolite, and Jerry Anatio, sisters Frances Savoie, and Pauline Anacio, daughter in law; Darlene LeBouef, and son in law; John Walton.
She loved fishing, crabbing, grape runs and spending time with her family; especially spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
