Milton, a WWII veteran, was a recipient of many medals and awards. Though he was seriously injured in battle, he returned home to his wife and daughter. Milton became a banker at Terrebonne Bank for several decades and retired as Vice President. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He took pride in his loving family, his yard and garden, and especially Rita's roses. Milton and Rita were wonderful caregivers who took in other family members. For the last eleven years, he took special care of Rita. Milton and Rita celebrated their 74th anniversary on February 12, making them the longest married couple in St. Mary's church parish. Their lives drastically changed after the death of their son, Milton Jr. He will be dearly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded War Heroes – www. wwhfr.com – or to local chapters of the American Legion or VFW.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
