Mildred Plaisance Thibodeaux

Mildred Plaisance Thibodeaux, 98, a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Mathews, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, September 30, 2024 at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen LeBlanc (Gayle), Charlene Faucheux (Bobby), Steve Thibodeaux (Susan), Marjorie Landry (Mike) and Emory Thibodeaux; daughter-in-law, Deborah Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Bryan, Bart, Kristi, Chad, Kelly, Ashley, Kerney Jr., Josh, Shontelle, Cole, Meagan, Kaci, Toni, Eric, Shawn, Grant and Courtney; numerous great and great-great grandchildren and sister, Gladys Matherne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Thibodeaux, Sr.; son, Charles Thibodeaux, Jr., parents, Pierre and Melodia Dufrene Plaisance; brothers, Lester, Edward, Edison, Chester, Norris and Ernest Plaisance and sister, Rennit Street.

Mildred was a member of the St. Hilary Council of Catholic Women and VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3663.
