Mildred Adams Guidroz, 81, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 12:07 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Visitation will also be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Frank Guidroz Sr.; son, Frank Guidroz Jr. and wife, Myra; daughters, Karen Snyder and husband, Gerald, Lynn Dufrene and husband, Clifford ""Pete"", and Donna Gautreaux and husband, Tommy; brothers, Junior, Michael, Harry and Whitney Adams; sisters, Clarabell Babin, Mary Lee Plaisance and Joyce Vaughn; grandchildren, Tommy and wife, Wendy Guidry, Gavin and Jennifer Snyder, Shane and Stephanie Dufrene, Angeline and Ross Eschette, Allen Gautreaux, Amy Gautreaux and fiancé, Brent Adams, Jill and Richard Francis, and Jay and Aimee Guidroz; and great-grandchildren, Owen, Blair, Allie, Easton, Michael, Colby, Aubrey and Alyssa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fortune and Ida Rose Adams; brothers, Irvin Sr., Hebert, Gerald, Carlton, Charles and James Adams; sisters, Mane Walker, Geraldine Addison, Cynthia Adams Babin, Shirley Adams and Ann Adams; and one grandchild, Shannon Dufrene.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
