Michelle Bartels Bourg Park, 47, a resident of Schriever, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 10 PM on Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 8 PM on Friday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at a later date.
She is survived by parents, Ronald and Jackie Bartels; her 2 sons, Glynn Bourg Jr. and wife Alisa and Mitchell Bourg; husband, Charles Park; 3 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Raine, and Drake Bourg; 5 siblings, Cindy Lichenstein, Philip Callais, Phyllis Veronie, Steven Callais, Mark Callais, and their spouses; 2 uncles, Bruce Bartels and Henry Melton; 2 stepchildren, Valerie and Vince Miller; 3 step-grandchildren, Shane Faucheaux, Emily Lancaster, and Bentley Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Orville and Betty Bartels; maternal grandparents, Marie and William Pongrance; aunt, Debra Bartels Melton; and nephew, Jeffrey Hebert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Michelle's name to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) P.O. Box 750712, New Orleans, LA 70175.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
