Michel Bruce

Michel J. Bruce, 91, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 4:30 PM at his residence.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Michael P. Bruce, Clarence J. Bruce, Norman P. Bruce and companion Gloria; daughters, Gloria B. Dufrene and husband Ronald, Sr., Diane Bruce and companion Dion Worley; 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gertie Mobley Bruce; parents, Joseph and Josephine Danos Bruce; brothers Lucien A. Bruce, Antoine Bruce, Morris P. Bruce, John Bruce; sisters Marcelline Bruce, Lucia B. Boudeloche, Eva B. Bourg,Malvina B. Bourg and Mary. B. Bruce. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
