Michael "Mike" Cheramie Sr., 48, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Michael Anthony Cheramie Jr. and wife, Lauren; grandchild, Parker Cheramie; mother, Barbara P. Cheramie; brother, David Anthony Cheramie; and former wives, Julie Serigny Cheramie and Cinnamon Dufrene.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry N. Cheramie; and god-daughter, Chelsie Cheramie Carson.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchild, Parker, and riding his motorcycle. He was also an honorary Bandido member, coached Bantham League Football and was a boat captain for Trico Marine.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
