Michael J. Verdin, 72, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA and from 8:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial follow in Dardar Cemetery, Golden Meadow, LA.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosie S. Verdin; daughters, Michaela Dunipace (Stephen), Nathania Verdin, Gabrielle Rosenberger (Kenny); son, Lysander Verdin (Sandra); grandkids, Jasper Verdin (Hayley), Stephen Dunipace (Carissa), Timothy Dunipace, Lysandra, Kenneth, Seraphine, Hollie Rosenberger, Bryce Verdin (Alaina Dubois), Kyra Verdin, Kaitlyn Guillot; great grandkids, BryaAnn, CasynJadyn, LawsynLynn Verdin, Ameila Dunipace, Arabelle Verdin; brothers, Clay, Gabriel, Adam Sr. and Nelson Verdin and sister Marie Serigny.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julien and Bridgette Dardar Verdin and brothers, Joseph and Emile Verdin.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
