Michael "Mike" Anthony Pierce, 42, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport, was entrusted unto God's loving care Monday, May 13, 2013, in Raceland.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at First Baptist Church in Lockport. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Terrie Edwards Pierce; mother, Liz Falgout Plaisance; stepfather, Cameron Plaisance; sons, Benton, Holden and Justin Pierce; daughter, Kelsey Pierce; brothers, Glenn M. Pierce and wife, Pam, and Benjamin J. Pierce and wife, Luvy; sister, Lacey P. Baudoin and husband, Beau; brother-in-law, Rusty P. Edwards; paternal grandparents, Frederick Pierce Sr. and Betty Punch Pierce; maternal grandparents, Floyd Falgout Sr. and Rena Mae Adams Falgout; godparents, Floyd "F.J." Falgout Jr. and Paulette P. Pertuit; godchildren, Camron and Brett Pierce; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Pierce Jr.; mother-in-law, Rebecca Smith Edward; and father-in-law, Gregory "Rusty" Edward.
