Michael J. “Mike” Sampey, Jr., 53, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport on Saturday, December 26th from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Savior Catholic Church.
Mike is survived by his wife, Jennifer P. Sampey; sons, Jordan (Kelsey) Sampey, Nick (Sylvia) Sampey; daughter, Jade Morgan Sampey; step-daughter, Sage Rodrigue; former daughter-in-law, Colleen Ordoyne; grandchildren, Zoey Claire Sampey, Avery Jae Sampey, Vivian, Ryder, Linzy, Kodi, Logan, Parker and Toot; brothers, Rodney Sampey, Scott Sampey, Todd Sampey and Mason Sampey; sister, Maddie Sampey.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Michael, Sr. and Betty Sampey.
Mike was a loving husband, father and Pop. He loved cookouts, family gatherings, dancing, fishing, hunting and trying to sing. He loved his family, friends, grandbabies and most of all his “Daddy’s Girl”.
