Michael P. Dufrene Sr.

Michael P. Dufrene, Sr., 68, a native and resident of Galliano, LA, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA and from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Dufrene Jr., Mark Dufrene (Betsy), Blake Dufrene (Sarah); daughters, Melissa Dufrene (Joshua) and Tessie Reffett (Matthew); grandchildren, Mesha, Brennon, Alexa, Annaleigh, Hunter, Rosalie, Nicholas, Chloe’, Theodore and Layla; great grandchildren, Amelie and Jack; brothers, Calvin Dufrene Jr., Steven Dufrene, Oscar Dufrene and sister, Florence Danos,
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Dufrene Sr. and Augustine Duet Dufrene.
Michael was an avid tarpon fisherman. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
