Meryl C. Foret, 83, a native of Houma, La. and resident of Raceland, La. passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at St. Hilary of Poitier’s Catholic Church from 9:00am until service times. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial at St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery.
Meryl is survived by her husband of 63 years Stanley P. Foret, children; Kirk Foret, Christopher Foret and Kelly Foret, and sister; Glenda Rogers.
Meryl was preceded in death by her parents; Elgene P. and Mona Martin Fournier.
Meryl was employed by Lafourche Parish Library for 20 plus years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Ladies Altar Society and Traveling Chalice.
