Merlene Benoit LeBoeuf, 78, a native and resident of Chauvin, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 1 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1830 Prospect Blvd. in Houma.
She is survived by her children, Molly Huggins and husband Nephi, Dolly Nelton and husband LeeRay, Treville LeBoeuf and wife Frannie, and Debra Foret and husband Brian; sister, Betty Tillman; daughter-in-law, Bernice LeBoeuf; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Anthony "BaBae" LeBoeuf; son, Tony LeBoeuf; parents, Harold and Mable Benoit; sisters, Stella Marcel and Mable Marcel; grandchildren, LeeRay Nelton Jr. and Tommy Nelton; and son-in-law, Chris Boudreaux.
She was very active at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for 53 years. The family would like to thank the members of the Kingdom Hall and the Journey Hospice staff for their care, love, and support,
