Melvin H. Wells, 81, a native of Alabama and resident of Galliano, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
Melvin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pauline Nickie Bernard Wells; son, Chuck Wells (Karen); daughters, Nicole Wells (Terry), Lanie Bourg (Kent) and Marsha Wells; grandchildren, Brad, Blake, Abram, Adler, Amris, Evan, Hunter; 12 great grandchildren and sister, Mary Chaffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Houston Wells and Bessie Miller Wells; son, David Wells and brothers, Joseph, Eldred and Aubrey Wells.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center or the South Lafourche Quarterback Club.
Private services were held.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
