Melvin "Coon" Vedros, 68, a native and resident of Cut Off, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Vedros, and Larry Vedros and wife, Sandy; one daughter, Tracey Dean and husband, Johnny Sr.; one brother, Wilbert Vedros; one sister, Mercedes Naquin; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Bernice G. Vedros.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
