Maunsell "M.J." Foret, 90, a native of Raceland and a resident of Gheens, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gheens, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
He is survived by his children, Ethel Toups (Kearney), Pansy Robichaux, Cynthia Foret, Ted Foret (Jack); daughter-in-law, Emma Foret; brother, Ray Foret; sister, Doris Neal; 11 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Guidry Foret; son, Elton Foret; parents, Elton Foret, Sr. and Velma Cecelia Boyer Foret and brothers, Nolan, Malcolm, Elton Jr., Renniel and Thomas Reed Foret.
