Maude Crochet Dupre

Maude Roussel Crochet Dupre, 75, a native of Lockport and a resident of Houma, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA and from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Holy Savior Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 Tuesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Dupre; daughter, Dawn Crochet Legendre (companion Tyrone Elkins); son, Gerald “Zeke” Crochet Jr. (Leila); step daughter, Sheri Dixon; step son, Andy Dupre (companion Judiann Wakefield); grandchildren, Zoe and Luke Legendre; step grandchildren, Addie and Alex Guidry, Owen and J.J. Dixon and sisters, Velma Dufrene, Thelma Chiasson, Bertha Vedros and Bernice Bourgeois.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald “Zeke” Crochet Sr.; parents, Arthur Sr. and Clemillia Roussel and brother, Arthur Roussel Jr.
Maude was a member of Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Annunziata Ladies Altar Society and the French Cajun Music Association. She was employed at Luling Living Center and was a devoted LPN at different facilities for over 40 years.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
