Mathilde LeBlanc Chiasson, a native and resident of Larose, passed away on Monday, May 14th 2018, age 96.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Thursday, May 17th from 11:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church starting at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Mathilde is survived by her children, Ronald J. Chiasson (Geraldine), Marlene C. Williams (Michael), Melinda C. Donovan (Glenn); sister, Beulah L. Punch; 9 grandchildren, Rueben Williams (Nicole), Stephen Williams (Rhonda), Brent Chiasson (Alison), Bryan Chiasson, Lauren D. Breaux (Brandon), Lesley D. Bergeron (Roy), Ian Donovan (Jessica), Luke Donovan, Stephen Donovan; 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold J. Chiasson; parents, Ernest and Bertile LeBlanc; brother, Wiley LeBlanc and sisters, Anna L. Breaux, Earline L. Gaubert, Lucille L. Savoie.
