Mary Lucie Vegas, 72, a resident of Luling, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019.
Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Monday, July 29th from 9 am until service time. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 am with a repass to follow in the St. Anthony Community Center. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucie Leblanc Vegas.
She was an active parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua where she was involved with the Ladies Alter Society. She retired from St. Charles parish School board and was a member of Raceland VFW as well as the St. Charles Women’s Club. Mary dedicated her life and service to God.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank at 700 Edwards Ave, New Orleans, LA 70123.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
