Mary Rachel Toups, 68, a native and resident of Houma, died on Thursday, August 24, 2017.
Visitation will be from 5 PM until 9 PM on Sunday, August 27 and from 8 AM until 9 AM on Monday, August 28 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Paul Toups, Jr.; son, Danny F. Toups and wife, Katie; daughters, Ashleigh Toups Naquin and husband, Heath, and Amy Toups Ellender and husband, Corey; brother, Cecil Marks Janise; and grandchildren, Westley Toups, Aydan, Michaela, and Isabella Naquin, Hannah Boudloche, Dorian Westbrock, Curran and Godric Ellender.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curley and Rena Janise.
