Mary Belle Thibodaux, 84, a native of Bayou Lafourche and a resident of Larose passed away on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025.
Mrs. Mary is survived by her children: Clifton Pitre Jr. (Romanda), Charmaine Rogers (Bobby), Celestina Cheramie, Joy Plaisance (Cary), David Thibodaux Jr.; grandchildren: Christopher Pitre, Calvin Walton Jr., Naomi Rogers, Bobby Rogers Jr., Callie Rogers, Cade Plaisance, Cari Plaisance, Alyssa Plaisance, Zacary Plaisance, I’an Thibodaux, My’lee Thibodaux; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Thibodaux was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years: David Thibodaux Sr.; children: Barbara Danos, Christopher Pitre; parents: Joseph and Eva B. Bourg.
She was a selfless member of her community providing help to anyone in need. Among her many hobbies she loved spending time with her family, her birds, and her plants.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitations at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Sunday, January 5th, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Monday, January 6th, 2025 from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. Procession will follow to Holy Rosary Catholic Church for her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
