Mary Jane Pitre,61, a native of Houma and resident of Cut Off passed away Dec. 3, 2016. Visitation will take place on Dec. 8, 2016 at Community Bible Church from 10 am until service time. Funeral Services will begin at 4 pm with cremation following and burial in the Community Bible Mausoleum at a later date.
Mrs. Mary Jane is survived by her husband Edward "Joe" Pitre, daughters Jessica Pitre and Rebecca Pitre, grand-dog Elliot, father Ralph "Joe" Newman (Betty), brother Michael Trout (Nancy), sister Martha Jo Reddick (Bill), and godchild Mary Jo Reddick.
Mrs. Pitre was preceded in death by her mother Blanch Guilbeau.
She worked for the Lafourche Parish School System for 21 years.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the ALS Association in Mrs. Mary's name.
