Mary Jane Uzee Matherne, 74, a native and resident of Raceland, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, April 25, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Falgout Funeral Home, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Matherne; daughters, Ramona Matherne and partner Rob Adams; Janice "Cookie" Danos and husband Richard; grandchildren, Ashley Adams and husband Joey, Harley Danos and Emmett Adams; great grandchildren, Carlie Danos and Carter Adams; brother, Earl Uzee and wife Katie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Edith Uzee; sisters, Marion Comeaux and Yvonne Uzee.
She loved everyone and spending time with her great grandchildren. They were the apple of her eyes. Memorial contributions may be made to Falgout Funeral Home.
