Mary Lee Adams Plaisance

Mary Lee Adams Plaisance, 78, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Holy Savior Little Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Plaisance, Sr.; sons. Wade Plaisance, Jr. and Gene Plaisance (Elish); daughters, Jackie Plaisance and Debra Plaisance; grandchildren, Meagan, Bethany, Colin, Seth and Parish; great grandchildren, Krista and Sallor; brothers, Junior Adams and Michael Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fortune and Ida Adams; brothers, Irvin Adams, Carlton Adams, Herbert Adams, Gerald Adams, James Adams, Whitney Adams, Harry Adams and Charles Adams; sisters, Clara Belle Babin, Mildred Guidroz, Marie Walker, Joyce Bon, Geraldine Addison, Cynthia Babin, Shirley Adams and Ann Adams.

Mary Lee was a religious teacher and she retired from the Lafourche Parish School system.
