Mary Ann Foret Dufrene, 68, a native of Raceland, LA and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on Wednesday, October 14, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Fernand Dufrene, Jr.; children, Fernand Dufrene III and companion Melissa Rushing, Keli Melancon; Ryan Dufrene and wife Brandy, Liana Blanchard; grandchildren, Candace and companion Randy Boudreaux, II, Troy Jr. and Ross; great grandchildren, Aubrey and Jaxton; brother, Bobby Foret and her dog Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Marie Lusco Foret; daughter, Allison Dufrene and brother, William Foret.
She was the owner of The Lockport Motel, member of Holy Savior Ladies Altar Society, VFW and American Legion Post 349.
