Mary Evelyn Doucet, 63, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galliano. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Mae D. Doucet.
She was preceded in death by her father, Livingston Doucet and brother, Carl Doucet.
Mary worked for the Registrar of Voters for 44 years, 25 as Chief Deputy and 6 as Registrar.
