Mary Martin Danos, 62, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass will be held at noon today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Al Danos; two sons, Marcel Danos, and Andre Durel Danos and wife, Julie Hebert Danos; two daughters, Rene' Danos David and husband, Travis, and Alyce Danos; three brothers, Durel Jr., James, and Marti Martin; one sister, Susan Mullaly; and five grandchildren, Sarah, Luke and Eli David, Ana Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Danos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Durel Martin Sr. and Irma LeBlanc Martin.
She was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a board member of the Friends of the Rosary and president of the Mary and Al Danos Family Foundation.
