Martha Foret Bourgeois, 91, a native of Raceland, LA and a resident of Audubon Health & Rehab Center in Thibodaux, LA, passed away peacefully on September, 16, 2015. She was born on July 15, 1924.
Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Friday, September 18, 2015 at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy Bourgeois and wife Kathy, Phillip Bourgeois; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and sisters, Flossie Martin and Louella Matherne.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles J. Bourgeois; second husband, Lawrence Grabert; parents, Sam and Elida Foret and brother, Alcide Foret.
She loved sewing, cooking, visiting with family and friends, playing bingo and an occasional visit to a casino.
