Marlene Champagne Foran

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Marlene Champagne Foran, 69, our most beloved wife, mother, sister, family member and friend, a native of Raceland, was called home on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Nativity Church Cemetery.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Foster Foran; sons, Ryan Lagarde (Tina), Walt Foran (Brittni); daughter, Megan Foran Jackson; grandchildren, Avery Lagarde, Lathan Lagarde, L.J. Jackson, Devin Jackson, Skyler Foran, Kendalyn Stephens, Casen Rogers, Rebekah Martin, Zachery Rogers; father, Joseph P. Champagne; siblings, Earl Champagne (Roxanna), Kathy Champagne Kaberlein (Mike), Joey Champagne (Marilyn “Mat”), Tammy Champagne Loupe (Maurice “Mo”), Grace Champagne Griffin (Andrew), Donna Champagne Escalante; cousin, Roy Gros, Jr. (Andre); Godchildren, Tiffany Rachal McGoey, Dylan Acosta; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie “Mary” L. Champagne; grandparents, Paul and Olive Champagne, John and Elvie LeBlanc; brother, Eddie Champagne; sister-in-law, Melinda Champagne and nephew, Andy Griffin.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
