Marlene Folse

Marlene Barrilleaux Folse, 76, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Fernand "Butch" A. Folse; son, Kevin and wife, Tammy Folse, and daughter, Angela F. Folse; brothers, Huey and wife, Rosie, Carroll and wife, Mary Ann, Gerald (Jerry) and wife, Lorraine, Julian and wife, Julie, Vernon, Stephen, and Patrick and wife, Margaret Barrilleaux; sisters, Ethel Himel and Goldie Legendre; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Anthony and Lillian Cyrilla Leray Barrilleaux; sons, Timothy and Jeffery Folse; daughter, Annette Majella Folse; and sisters, Joyce Barrilleaux, Theresa Barrilleaux, and Catherine Mona Williams.
