Marjorie Rita Durapau Dempster
March 1, 1935 — December 28, 2018
Marjorie Rita Durapau Dempster, 83, a native and resident of Hahnville, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Galen Dempster (Jody); daughters, Marla Beams (Keith), Robin Roberts (Barney), Lauren Baker (Bobby); 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gillis Dempster; daughter, Alana Dempster and parents, Louis and Marie Durapau.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed her rosary group and playing Bingo.
Special thanks to doctors and nurses at Luling Living Center and St. Charles Hospital for their care and compassion.
