Marjorie "Margie" Pierce Richardel, 90, a native of Cut Off, longtime resident of New Orleans, former resident of Houma, and current resident of Thibodaux, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014.Visitation was Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma with burial in Holy Rosary cemetery in Larose.She is survived by her nephew, Gary Pierce and wife, Virgie H. Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Pierre Richardel; parents, Henry Jr. and Evelia Pitre Pierce; brothers, Wilbert, Tryphon, Robert, and James Pierce; and sister, Marcella P. Lorio.Margie was a bookkeeper for Cotton's Jewelry Store on Canal Street in downtown New Orleans for 35 years.
