Marilyn Sue Esponge Parks, 70, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away on Monday, February, 14, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Lockport, on Tuesday, February 22nd from 5 pm until 8 pm and will continue on Wednesday, February 23rd at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Galliano, from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in the Cheramie Cemetery.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Jessica Parks Marcus (Andrew) and Kimberly Parks Terrebonne (Bradley); 4 grandchildren, Connor and Sophia Marcus, Bailey Orgeron and Kinsley Terrebonne; great-grandson, Danuel Lodrigue; brother, Darryl Esponge (Gladys); sisters, Elaine Fillinich (Dick), Linda Garlington and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Cameron Parks; parents, Linwood and Irma Callais Esponge and brother-in-law, Dwaine Garlington Sr.
Marilyn was a very loving person to all, especially her children and grandchildren.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
