Marie P. Verdin

Marie P. Verdin, 84, a native of Dulac, La. and resident of Larose, La. passed away on February 1, 2024 with her loving family near her side.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Christian Fellowship Church from 9:00am until service time. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00am at church with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Marie is survived by her children, Earl Frederick Verdin (Sharan K.), Eddie E. Verdin, Ezelle Leblanc (Varon), and Earin Verdin; brothers, Michael, Peter, Anthony and Easton Parfait; grandchildren, Grady LeBlanc (Crystal), Alan Verdin (Anna), and, Craig James Verdin; great-grandchild, Gabriel Rubinstein; goddaughter, Melissa Usey.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Freddie “Captain Fred” Verdin; parents, Abraham, Sr. and Marie Violet Foret Parfait; son-in-law, Gary G. LeBlanc; brother, Abraham Parfait, Jr.; sisters, Josephine Naccio, Florence Soudelier, Marguiete Cupp and Rita Mae Plaisance; goddaughter, Barbara Naccio.
Marie was a member of TOPS, Red Hats, and Den-Mother for Cub Scouts.
Marie was employed at Walmart for 20+ years.
