Marie "Miss Gladys" Trahan, 71, a native of Montegut and resident of Robinson Canal, died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at God's Hope of Refuge Church. Religious services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in New Hope Mausoleum.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Eulan Joseph Trahan; three sons, Kenneth and wife, Patricia, Lynn and wife, Lisa, and Leslie and wife, Angela Trahan; two daughters, Deborah and husband, Patrick Duplantis, and Alice and husband, Todd Richoux; and one brother, six sisters, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Cecile LeBoeuf Naquin; grandson, Scott Richoux; great-granddaughter, Madison Richoux; and six brothers and one sister.
She was a member of God's Hope of Refuge Church.
