Marie Aimee Marx, 87, a native of Chauvin and resident of Harvey, died at 6:19 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Gregory Catholic Church. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Lawrence and Harold Marx of Harvey; two daughters, Deborah Barrios of Harvey and Cindy M. Lawrence of Avondale; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence M. Marx; her parents, Forestal and Marie Duplantis Champagne; one brother, Sheldon Champagne; and four sisters, Theresa Chauvin, Marguerite Dupre, Rose Buquet and Anna C. Boney.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
