Marie Daigle Dufrene, 87, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 3:20 PM in Lockport, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2013 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, George Dufrene, Jr. and wife Yola Jean, Lonnie Dufrene and wife Jesica, Wayne Dufrene; daughters, Cynthia Walk and husband Michael, Brenda Cheramie, Geraldine Janes and husband Doyt; son-in-law, Norman Robichaux; 18 grandchilden, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Dufrene, Sr.; daughters Marie Robichaux, Gwen Plaisance and husband Lawrence, Jr. and Gaylia Dufrene; parents Joseph and Marie Pichoff Daigle; brother, Antoine Daigle ,and sister Theresa Daigle.
