Marie Babin Bourgeois, 99, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Bourgeois Rogers (Carroll); sons, Edward Bourgeois (Cheryl) and Donald Bourgeois (Dianna); 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Bourgeois; parents, Hypolite and Alice Babin; brothers, Jack, Joe, Lionel and Presley Babin; sisters, Evella Bergeron, Esther Rahmel, Lillie Sevin, Solange Benanti, Hermine Waguespack, Blanche Matherne and 1 grandson.
Marie was charter member of the Catholic Daughters.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
