Marianne Greig Chauffe

Marianne G. Chauffe, 88, a native of St. Martinville, La, resident of Lafourche parish for 55 years and a current resident of New Orleans, La passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2024, hours away from her 89th birthday.

Marianne is survived by her son, Greig Chauffe; daughters, Suzanne Chauffe (Benny) Tullia and Mitzy Chauffe (Kelly) St. Amant; grandchildren, Curtis Chauffe, III, Patrick Chauffe, Stefanie Tullia, Josh Chauffe, Samantha Tullia, Jacob Savoie and Duncan Chauffe; brothers, Louis Richard  Greig and Karl Anthony Greig; sister, Maxine Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis C. Chauffe; son, Curtis Chauffe, II; parents, Malcom Anthony Greig and Paula Girouard; grandchildren, Linsy Chauffe and Michael Lynne Tullia.

She enjoyed spending time with her family; and enjoyed her hobbies including cooking, reading, gardening, traveling, enjoying nature and bird watching. She was always up for adventure.

The family would like to thank Touro Woldenberg Village for their care and compassion. 

Graveside services will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cut Off, LA, on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11 am.
