Marian C. Savoie, 91, a native and resident of Des Allemands passed away on Sunday, August 14th, 2022.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Friday, August 19th, 2022 from 9:00 am until service time. A service will be held in the Parlor at 11:00 am with procession following to her burial in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
Mrs. Marian is survived by her loving children: Clair (Brian) Schaubhut, Marian (Eddie) Clement, and Miranda (James) Hicks; grandchildren: Mick, Sabrina, Samantha, Ashley, Hunter, and Erin; great grandchildren; Aidan, Lillie, Sawyer, Peyton, Camryn, and Brantley; and sister: Virgie Naquin.
Mrs. Savoie was preceded in death by her husbands: Pueblito Medina and Ralph Savoie; parents: Wilson and Octavie Cantrelle; sisters: Stella (Jack) Roberts and Gloria (Lynn) Petit; brothers: George (Kathleen) Cantrelle, Earl (Francis) Cantrelle, and William Cantrelle; and brother-in-law: Randolph Naquin, Sr.
Mrs. Marian enjoyed working in her garden and travelling.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks for donations in her name to St. Jude Children's research hospital.
