Marguerite Guidry Babin

Marguerite Guidry Babin, 94, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Thursday, January 12th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume on Friday, January 13th from 9:00 until funeral time. A Mass of Cristian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, John Babin and Martin Babin, Sr.; daughters, Ann Crosby and Jan (Robert) Witherell; grandson, Martin Babin, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin J. Babin; parents, Edward, Sr. and May Guidry; granddaughter, Ariell Crosby; brothers, Malcolm Guidry and Edward “E.J.” Guidry; sisters, Ella Mae Lorraine, Hazel Babin, Rose Mary Foret and Gladys Baudoin.
