Margaret “Peggy” Gautreaux, 92 a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La.
Gained her angel wings on Sunday, July 17, 2022.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 9:00am until service times. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial in the church cemetery.
Peggy is survived by her daughters: Poppy Duet and Mary Gautreaux, grandchildren: Cherie (John) Dufrene, Quint (Kristy) Bourg, Ashley (Nick) Cheramie, Jai (Tiffany) Bourg, Paige (Tony) Burks, Eric (Jonann) Esponge, great grandchildren: Justin, Dani, Jonnie, Brinigan, Kamden, Brady, Nicky, Avary, Carter, Cohen, Erika, Melissa, Megan, Caroline, Logan and Jillian, great-great-grandchildren: Mekiah, Adyson, Kayden, Kellan and Aiden.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Alvin Gautreaux, daughter: Phyllis Esponge, parents: Paul, Sr. and Lucille Blouin Dufrene, brother: Paul Dufrene, Jr., sisters: Nell Gautreaux, Lorraine Terrebonne, and JoAnn Christian, son-in-law: Danny “Big-D” Duet.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jay Vega and his staff and the staff of Lady of the Sea Home Health.
