Marcella "La La" Griffin, 89, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian Burial will commences at 12 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano.
She is survived by her sons, Larris P. Griffin and wife Brenda, Glenn Griffin and companion, Onilia Dalby; daughter, Charlene Griffin; sisters, Meta G. Cheramie, Ethel G. McDann, Jennie Lee G. Reding; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Griffin, Jr.; parents, Ellis and Melodia Autin Guidry; brothers, Elmo, Bob, and Elden Guidry; sister, Irene Guidry.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
