Mandry J. Bourgeois Sr., 87, a native of Houma and resident of Paradis, died at 4:26 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Des Allemands. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Bourgeois; two sons, Magnel Bourgeois and wife, Maria, and Jimmy Bourgeois and wife, Phyllis; three daughters, Linda Holland, Brenda Vacari and Jeanne Bourgeois; two stepdaughters, Judith Comardelle and husband, Vernon, and Margaret Davis and husband, Phillip; daughter-in-law, Connie Bourgeois; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by is mother, Helen Belanger; son, Mandry Bourgeois Jr.; stepson, Johnny Cullins; son-in-law, Edgar Holland; brother, Joe Bourgeois; and sisters, Dorothy Fincher and Rita Rhodes.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
