Mae Rita Vedros, age 86, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 9:30 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Mae is survived by her children, Ida C. Vedros, Timothy M. Vedros (Tracy), Gerard A. Vedros (Sandra), Terence J. Vedros (Jeanine); 6 grandchildren, Jeremy, Hannah, Emily, Andrew, Remi, Hansel; great grandson, James; sister, Dorothy Badeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Vedros and parents, Dennis and Estellina Matherne.
Mae was a active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed sewing, and playing pokeno with her friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
