Mae Chauvin Allemand LeCompte was called to our Lord, Saturday 2, 2017 at the age of 101. Born, May 14, 1916, raised in Lockport, LA and lived in Westwego, LA for 81 years.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, September 7, 2017at Holy Savior Catholic Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one sister, Elise Allemand; two daughters, Brenda Allemand and Claudia Armand; two grandchildren, Chad Armand (Amy) and Cris Armand; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Brady, and Brennan Armand, Maxwell Yelvington, Natalia and Victoria Lichilin and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Allemand for 41 years; second husband, Troy LeCompte for 26 years; parents, Xavier and Mathilda Chauvin; four brothers, Ecklina Chauvin (Marie), Xavier "X.J." Chauvin Jr. (Marion), Claiborne Chauvin (Wilma), Elmo Chauvin (Lydia); four sisters, Elenora Davis, Clothilda Arcement (Lionel Sr.), Florence Gaubert (Sidney), Frances Ougel (Nolan); brother-in-law, Nacy Allemand.
Special thanks to Maison deVille of Harvey and Canon Hospice. In lieu of flowers prayers would be appreciated.
