Mae Boudoin Cheramie, 87, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Monday, October 30th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Mae is survived by her husband of 71 years, Herbert J. Cheramie, Sr.; sons, Ned Cheramie (Gail) and Herbert Cheramie, Jr.(Loretta); daughters, Sybil C. Navarre (Philip) and Dolly A. Cheramie; sister, Theresa B. Martin; 1/2 sister, Mary Mae B. Plaisance; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Julien and Leonise Guidry Boudoin; step-mother, Avora Doucet Boudoin; brothers, Ecles, Dave, Nessy, Frank and Joseph Boudoin; sister, Marie B. Buccola
Mrs. Mae was a member of The Holy name Society at Our lady of the Rosary Church. She loved fishing with her husband "Rock" and working in her garden.
The family would like to give special thanks to Notre Dame Hospice Team for all the love and support they have given.
